Chloe and Cutter live together in this beautiful apartment. It is decorated in a both rustic and modern day. Both tenants have their own room, but share a bathroom. As another note, Chloe normally leaves the door unlocked, but Cutter never seems to forget it.

"Look at you, look at you," Chloe cooed to the little golden retriever puppy. It was a cute and pudgy little ball of fluff that squirmed around in Chloe's arms. She set him down on the apartment's wooden floor, bending over to watch him. He bounced around and ran around Chloe's legs, jumping up to lick her hands and her face. She hadn't even thought of a name, or even of naming it. "Hey, Cutter... do you have any ideas for names?" She gave him a little smile. She was probably going to only spit out really Australian sounding names, but most Australians had really cool names, in her defense. She had even known someone named Harry Flynn, that has to be one of the coolest names ever. They could use the name Flynn, considering that Harry was most likely dead. Chloe looked back to realize that Cutter wasn't behind her. She set down the bag of dog kibble she was carrying and peered around the door. The little puppy had already climbed up on their couch and started barking at Chloe while looking out the window at a passing bird. Chloe let out a little sigh and decided to wait for Cutter.

"I'm here, I'm here! Sorry!" Cutter stumbled into their flat, half stumbling and half walking. "You got rocket boots on?" He laughed, as Chloe had beaten him to and from the pet shop. "I heard you talking, what'd you say?" To be honest, Cutter had only assumed that she would have been talking about what she was going to name their little puppy. But Cutter wasn't there, and as such, hadn't heard. The golden retriever bounced up onto his legs and licked his hands. Cutter grinned. "Hey buddy, you like it here?" He said in a higher pitched baby cooing voice. He'd been thinking of using the name Jack, named after the Union Jack, for the puppy, be he was almost certain the Chloe and her Aussie-ness would surely shoot that idea down. "Who's room is he staying in? Or are you planning for the front room. And I've got a pretty smashing idea for his name if I do say so myself." Cutter gave Chloe a quick wink. The puppy sat back down and began to sniff out their apartment. "I'll bet he likes my room better." Cutter joked around. He sat down on the couch and watched the new puppy.

"He likes your room because of your lady-like collection of pillows," Chloe enjoyed poking fun at Cutter, but it was all in good humor. The puppy was already burrowing into his pillows, grabbing one and shaking it too and fro in his little puppy jaws. He was so cute, "I really don't care whose room he stays in, he can sleep in either at any given night, but we should keep his stuff in the front room, and he can go to the bathroom on the roof. No one goes up there, I should know, I'm brave enough to sunbathe up there, don't tell the landlady," She shrugged. "But I'm just kinda throwing things out, he's your dog too," She thought about names again, then realized she hadn't heard Cutter's idea yet, it would probably something British. "Oh, what was your idea, I promise I won't shoot it down immediately," She gave another smile. "Can't be as bad as my name ideas,"

"Well, it's something to do with the Union Jack, and it's not Union...its Jack...I...I thought of Jack." Cutter beamed at his jab at Chloe's Australian patriotism. He gently pulled the pillow from the puppy and shook his little ears. Cutter was already swooning over the new puppy and they'd just gotten him! He snickered a little, taking Chloe's poking fun as just what it was, poking fun. He didn't mind, that was their friendship...or more than friendship. Anyways, he looked up at Chloe and waited for her response, debating whether he wanted her to agree with his name, or have a battle of patriotism. Cutter started to think of ideas for other names, he knew there'd be a couple they'd have to go through before finally settling on one they liked most. Obviously the two could go on for ages and ages about their choice, so Cutter was already preparing himself.

"Jack, Oh, Charlie, you're so British," She gave a little chuckle. She didn't use his first name very much, she had gotten used to using his nickname. She wasn't sure which he preferred, but everyone called him Cutter, so that's what she called him. She rested a hand on his large shoulder. "But I really like the name Jack, I was thinking of the name Flynn," Chloe shrugged, she hoped he didn't remember Harry Flynn. Chloe gave the puppy a little scratch on the head, getting behind his fluffy ears. "It just depends if we want our dog to be an Aussie or a Brit. Or we can just chose a name that doesn't go with either," She rolled her stormy grey eyes before speaking again. "I'm sure that neither of us will budge, we are both as stubborn as a couple of mules," Chloe chuckled one more time. She grabbed the little puppy and flopped down on the bed, messing up almost all of Cutter's pillows in the process. The puppy began giving her little puppy kisses all over her face and neck. Chloe let out a little screech and began giggling uncontrollably. "This is as bad as being tickled!" She hated being tickled.

Cutter cringed as the pillows fell off the bed-he liked those pillows!- but then began to stifled a laugh as their unnamed puppy began to lick Chloe. "You have wrought this tickle demon upon yourself. I will not save you. May God have mercy on your soul." Cutter really started to ham it up by then. He grinned as Chloe laughed as she began to be tickled even more mercilessly by the dog. "From seeing all this is almost say his name should be Tickles." Cutter laughed at himself. He decided to take pity on the poor, ticklish Chloe and pried the dog off of her. "And the Brits save the day again!" Cutter said, sighing as he had too fire out how to hold the puppy as it squirmed this way and that in his arms, trying to lick him. But Cutter had learned from the ticklish Chloe's mistakes, and set the puppy on the floor to go play with his pillows.

Dorian walked through the halls of the apartment complex, counting the rooms as he went. I knew my luck would run out when I just happened to run into another treasure hunter, now I have to hunt down this random Aussie! Damn my knee! Damn this hallway! Before he could curse more annoyances, Dorian came upon the room he was looking for. There was uncontrollable giggling coming from inside, definitely not the attitude of a professional fortune hunter. Nonetheless Dorian nocked his old hand on the door. At first nothing but childish giggling. There is no sock on the door, so I shouldn't be interrupting anything. He knocked again, defiantly. "Is this the home of Chloe Frazer and Charlie Cutter?" Yelled Dorian through wooden door. He waited a second, the giggling from inside continued. "I know this is the apartment of Chloe Frazer and Charlie Cutter! I have an offer for you, so please open your door! I am getting impatient, and I will leave you! Chloe Frazer and Charlie Cutter! Chloe Frazer and Charlie Cutter! Frazer! Cutter! FRAZER! CUTTER!" Dorian was not known for his subtlety and patients.

Chloe wanted to ignore the screaming at the door, but she realized it wouldn't stop. "Thanks for saving me Cutter, I really appreciate your bravery in the face of such a horrific beast," Chloe smirked, adding more and more fake grandeur with every word. She gave a gesture to the puppy. "We might just have to name him Tickles, no matter how stupid it sounds," She then realized the man was screaming her and Cutter's name. Chloe realized she, and to some extent Cutter were known names in the treasure hunting business. How did he find them? She shook those thoughts out of her head and went to open the door. A withered and irritated old man stood in the doorway. "You mentioned that you had an offer, and that you know our names," She raised an eyebrow, a little bite and venom in her voice. Her hand went to the .45 on her hip. "Who in the hell are you? I want an answer in the next fifteen seconds," She said loud enough that Cutter could probably hear what was going on. Chloe didn't need Cutter to protect her, but he was intimidating, the sight of the Brit had made men run. OOC: The posting order should be, Chloe, Cutter, Dorian

Cutter couldn't believe the sound of someone banging at the door to be a small, old man. He walked up behind Chloe's shoulder and listened to her speak, planning his words carefully. This old man knew about them, and whether he was just a kooky old man or an actual threat, Cutter couldn't be sure. What he was sure of, though, was that the man gave him an uneasy sort of vibe, like the man knew something that he didn't, which made him even more unsettled. And what was this "offer" that the man spoke of. The man was then asked by Chloe, in a mighty firm way if Cutter could add, if he would tell them his name and who exactly he was. Cutter thought it an appropriate question, and thus stayed silent, providing the strong but silent support he thought that Chloe needed, because she could handle herself just fine. He was just there for the "big scary British man" aspect.

Dorian looked down at the skinny Aussie and the tough Britain. This can not be the acclaimed Chloe Frazer and Charlie Cutter! And is that bloke going to talk, I know the woman will. Dorian then, to be annoyingly literal, counted to fifteen then introduced himself. "I am the famed Dorian Richards, treasure hunter extraordinaire. I dare to cal myself the richest and most successful explorer to ever walk this earth, never failing an expedition. You, I believe, are the two who failed to find the Kruger Million, child's play that." Dorian then peered down at the two, having to hurt his back as he went. "You are Charlie and Chloe Cutter, fortune hunting duo right? You look like your photos so I have to believe its you. Anyhow, I have decided, after twenty years, to come out of retirement and adventure once more. My age not being what it used to be, I will need a crew. Who better than a couple of hunters. I have nothing to offer you but adventure... and an entire bag of priceless gold." Dorian threw the half empty bag of gold down to Cutter. He smiled. "I am a busy man and don't have time to spare the details with fools who do not go on my expeditions. Give me an answer in, to quote you here, missy," Dorian mustered up a bad, and slightly stereotypical, Australian accent, "I will give you fifteen seconds to answer." He then turned to his expensive watch and counted to fifteen. When thirteen came without an answer Dorian ripped his satchel from Cutter and turned to leave. However he was stopped by a small dog blocking him from the hall. Damn dog, ruined my exit!

"First off, Charlie and Chloe, Cutter?" Chloe was starting to go down her list, she was obviously irritated and Cutter may have to hold her back, attacking the elderly looks good on no records. "Last time I checked, my last name is Frazer, it would in no way be Cutter, even if we did get married, I'd probably keep my last name," This old man was obviously sassing her. Chloe grabbed the satchel as Dorian turned to leave and stared him down with furious grey eyes. That mocking of her accent wasn't a good way to get on her good side. "Famed treasure hunter? I've never heard of a Dorian Richards, must not be important," She crossed her arms, insulting a man's pride can get him to bend to anyone's but in this case, Chloe Frazer's will. "I don't know if you're lying, you could just be a bloke who's gone bonkers," Chloe pulled her .45 Defender out of it's holster, wondering if Cutter would hold her back or let her scare Dorian away.

Cutter took Chloe by the wrist, not forcefully, but a bit of a polite warning to calm down before attacking this poor man. The man was being quite rude, but the fact was, was that Chloe was quite scary as it was. She didn't need her gun to do the talking. Cutter scowled and felt a bit bristled as the man went on and on and on and on about himself. Oh sure, how famous. Cutter rolled his eyes. If he was annoyed, he could already tell that Chloe was more than enraged."Look, don't worry about him. Just say a polite goodbye, close the door slowly, we're done." Cutter said in a hushed whisper, hoping the man would have bad hearing due to old age and wouldn't hear his conversation with Chloe. "We don't need a gun to scare 'im off. Don't worry." Cutter finished, setting an expression on his face of a drill sergeant. He'd let Chloe do the talking, and see how it played out. He tried, but fruitlessly, to contain a smile at their, thought still unnamed, puppy. The little ankle-biter had some guts to interfere with the man as well.

Dorian merely laughed at the squabble between him and Frazer. He smiled even harder at her hushed whispers to Cutter, which he could not entirely hear. "Chloe Frazer, I didn't expect you to have heard of me isolated on this tiny island. In fact, am surprised anyone knows anything around here with their much needed arachnophobia, dying national aquatic beauty, and Uranium birth defect problems. I've not been here a day and its a wonder that I'm still alive. And, to comment on you retort about my mental state, I went bonkers in '66." Dorian laughed off his grander, and turned to Cutter. "And you, tough guy, I like how you have to have this feisty, and busty, young woman to stand up to a sixty-five year old man for you." He then laughed at the Brit's expense. "Now that I have, what do you kids say nowadays, sick burned you(?), I will take my leave. Oh by the way if your dog dies its not my fault." Dorian then turned to leave a final time when he "dropped" one of his coins. The coin that happened to fall was the one with his number on it, the one he swayed Lara with. "I'll be in contact!" Dorian yelled from down the hall. A woman, who had witnessed his entire meeting with Chloe and Cutter, looked at him oddly. He dropped a gold coin in her hand, and left the building. He was scheduled to fly back to his house outside New York, a little thing to remind him of California, so as to not spend real time in the tired old Australia.

Chloe Frazer Shun death is my advice
. Chloe just about hissed and spat at old man as he left but was too surprised by the coin. She slammed the door angrily, turning to Cutter. "Charlie... Other than the fact that Dorian irks me to no end. His talk of expeditions... Are you sure we should be retired, I know you enjoy that teaching job and I love living in Australia. Am I just sounding like a crazy person?" She then remembered Dorian's comment about her bust and gave them a glance. "Barnes and Noble aren't that big... Are they?" She rolled her eyes and glanced to their still unnamed puppy. "He's probably delusional, but should we listen to him," Chloe said as she situated herself on the bench near the window, her thinking spot. She shook her head, she hasn't done much in her adult life other than hunt for treasure. Was Charlie going to pull her back from he ledge or was he going to encourage her to jump, with the slim chance of flying?
